Virtual Lunch and Learn: Cultural Diversity
This event is in the past.
This year the Virtual Lunch and Learn series (formerly “Virtual Brown Bag”) is focused on global learning. The AAC&U has identified six global learning competencies: global self-awareness, perspective taking, cultural diversity, personal and social responsibility, understanding global systems, and applying knowledge to contemporary global contexts. This session will focus on cultural diversity, featuring Nicole Coleman, associate professor in Classical and Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures and director of Global Studies.
The VBB will have 15-20 minutes of recorded interactive instruction and examples, followed by time for you to ask individual questions. Feel free to enjoy lunch while you learn.
