City Institute: Warriors Explore Midtown Walking Tour
This event is in the past.
Get to know the past, present, and future of Midtown Detroit—the neighborhood Wayne State proudly calls home.
Some of the city's finest gems stand proudly in our Cultural Center in Midtown, steps from the Wayne State campus. Just a few of the institutions that make Detroit a destination for arts and culture in our region and, indeed, the world. Join us as we walk among these masterpieces as well as Minoru Yamasaki architecture on Wayne State's campus and a myriad of long-standing and new shops and restaurants in the area.
The tour will take approximately 2 hours. Tours will occur indefinitely, rain or shine, unless a severe weather warning is issued by the national weather service on the date of the tour for the time of the tour. If a severe weather warning or event causes the tour to be cancelled, City Institute will offer to transfer participant tickets to another date.
