Dear Community,
Thank you for your continued support of Black Girls CODE! We are looking for volunteers and mentors for a few amazing projects and events.

Join us as we kickoff the official launch of Black Girls CODE Detroit!

We're excited to return to the city of Detroit to establish an official Black Girls CODE Chapter and invite you to attend our upcoming Meet and Greet:
  • Explore sponsorship and partnership opportunities with Black Girls CODE
  • Sign your tech divas up for our upcoming workshops and explore STEM resources for parentse
  • Mingle, network, and engage in meaningful conversations over llight refreshments
  • Sign up to volunteer at a Detroit Chapter event
Who are we?
  • Black Girls CODE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating opportunities for girls of color, ages 7-17 to become tech innovators and creators. Through workshops and enrichment events, our tech divas engage in robotics, web design, game development, virtual reality, 3-D printing and more. To date we have educated and introduced computer programming to more than 8,000 girls of color (Black, Latina and Native American) and are on a quest to train one million young women by 2040. In essence we are a MOVEMENT to change the face of technology for women and girls of color!
