The Office of the Vice President for Research and Provost’s Office are pleased to offer the Research and Academic Development seminar series for WSU faculty, chairs & directors, postdoctoral trainees, graduate students, and administrators. Seminars are free but registration is required to attend.

Guidance for Finding Funding from Foundations will take place Thursday, April 12th, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at 5057 Woodward Avenue, 6th Floor, Conference Room A.

Participants will be guided through the best practices for identifying funding for their particular projects. This will be a unique and detailed discussion and consultation with the experts from University Development.

Participants are asked to send a 1 to 3 sentence description of a project (or more) for which they seek funding one week prior to the seminar. The description can be sent to mserowik@wayne.edu.

Julianne Bjarnesen, associate director for Corporate and Foundation Relations, and Julie Burtch, director, Foundation Relations, from the Wayne State University Office of Development and Alumni Affairs will present.
