BrainStorm 2018 will cover broad neuroscience research from across campus. We begin at breakfast with a poster session, including prizes for trainees. Throughout the day will be data blitz, Lab overview and TED-style talks from trainees and faculty, concluding with posters and a reception.

The keynote address will be presented by Dr. Walter Koroshetz, current Director of the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS).

Dr. Koroshetz serves as co-chair of the NIH BRAIN Initiative. He was instrumental in establishing the NIH Office of Emergency Research. He is the NINDS representative to the federal Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee; Chair of the Interagency Pain Research Coordinating Committee and the NIH Pain Consortium, and Co-chair of the Common Fund Undiagnosed Disease program.
