College of Engineering Dean Farshad Fotouhi and Civil and Environmental Engineering Department Chair Mumtaz Usmen cordially invite all faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends of Wayne State University to the dedication of Tapan Datta Boulevard, as we install a city-approved alternate street sign at the Corner of Anthony Wayne Drive and Warren Avenue. President M. Roy Wilson will give remarks, and refreshments will be provided.

This street sign pays tribute to the accomplishments of Tapan Datta, Ph.D., as a distinguished professor of civil engineering at Wayne State University, and his service redesigning Anthony Wayne Drive to improve pedestrian safety, traffic flow and parking, while creating retail opportunities to the University and great aesthetics for the community.
