I will be presenting Q3 labor market data on the State of Automotive Labor Market in Michigan as it relates to jobs in engineering, IT and skilled trades. This includes employment information – such as the size of the labor force and the unemployment rate – as well as top advertised in-demand jobs, and the skills, knowledge and abilities employers seek the most.
Michelle serves on the advisory board of the Computer Science program at Wayne State University and is a member of the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) Apprenticeship sub-working group, focusing on the return on investment of apprenticeship programs in the United States.
Michelle is a Michigan native, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Science with Honors in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and a Masters of Public Policy from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
