College of Engineering bachelor students graduating in May 2023 or August 2023 (or have graduated in December 2022) are invited to the 63rd Annual Professional Society Induction Ceremony.

What is the Professional Society Induction Ceremony?
Engineering, Engineering Technology, and Computer Science students are recognized in a formal ceremony.  This is optional - all BS College of Engineering graduating students are eligible.

  • The Ring Ceremony is the public induction of candidates into the Order of the Engineer, during which the engineer candidates formally accept the Obligation of an Engineer and receive a stainless-steel ring to be worn as a symbol on the little finger of the working hand.
  • Computer Science graduates repeat The Pledge of the Computing Professional.
  • Engineering Technology division students get pinned in the Professional Order of Engineering Technology (POET).

Registration required by March 3rd 6 a.m.
 
Student registrants will receive more detailed instructions about the event.
