An Honors College luncheon series for students featuring conversations with faculty and community leaders.

Lunch is provided for attendees. RSVP's are required, as seating is limited.

This month's speaker is engineering professor Jeffrey Potoff.

Jeffrey Potoff is a Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science, where he teaches courses in thermodynamics, reaction kinetics and reactor design, and computer simulation.  He is associate dean for academic affairs for the College of Engineering, and has led many initiatives to improve student engagement, retention and graduation rates in Engineering.  Examples include pop-up advising, First Year Engineering: Spotlight on Design, the Eos program, and the NSF S-STEM funded ACCESS program.  Additionally, Professor Potoff was recently named interim chair for the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science.
