Wayne State University's Center for Cancer Health Equity & Community Knowledge in Urban Populations (CHECK-UP) and Karmanos Cancer Institute's Office of Cancer Health Equity & Community Engagement (OCHECE) invite faculty, staff, community members and others to attend a workshop, An Overview of PCORI Engagement Awards, on March 11, 2022 from 9 to 10:00 a.m.
This interactive workshop will prepare attendees to apply for funding from the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) that supports engagement of patients and other healthcare stakeholders.
Registration is required! All registrants will receive a link to the workshop prior to March 11.
Hayley S. Thompson, Ph.D., will lead the workshop. Dr. Thompson has received three engagement awards since 2016. She is the director for WSU's Center for Health Equity & Community Knowledge in Urban Populations (CHECK-UP); professor of Oncology in Wayne State's School of Medicine and associate center director for Community Outreach & Engagement at the Karmanos Cancer Institute.
