The Office of the Vice President for Research is pleased to offer the Research Development seminar series for WSU faculty, chairs & directors, postdoctoral trainees & graduate students, and administrators. Seminars are free but registration is required.

This seminar, Navigating the Institutional Review Board (IRB): Tips and Tricks for a Smooth Review will take place Thursday, November 10th, 2022 from 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm.

This session will help investigators conducting human subject/participant research understand the role of the IRB, the types of IRB reviews based on risk, how the IRB evaluates the types of risks in human participant research, and what to expect when submitting a study to the IRB for review.
