The Division of Research & Innovation is pleased to invite the campus community to a one-hour seminar hosted by Lewis & Burke to explore alternative funding opportunities for health and biomedical research. The seminar will be held on October 8 from 12 to 1 p.m. via Zoom. Registration is required.

Description:Navigating the competitive landscape of health and biomedical research funding can be challenging, particularly as reliance on National Institutes of Health (NIH) grants continues to grow. This webinar provides a comprehensive overview of alternative funding sources for health and biomedical researchers, from early career researchers to established investigators.  During the webinar we will explore opportunities at long standing agencies like the Department of Defense and newer agencies such as the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H).  Representatives from the Health & Bioscience Innovations Practice Group at Lewis-Burke Associates will lead the discussion. There will be time for Q&A following the presentation and faculty can also engage directly with Lewis-Burek following this event.
