Reception and trainee poster set up (light breakfast provided) 8:00am - 9:00am

Plenary session by senior fac: 3 x 20 min talks (15 min + questions) 9:00am - 10:00am

- Vicki Johnson-Lawrence, M.S., Ph.D. (Michigan State University) - “What Should We Do? Using Participatory Research Methods to Improve Health Outcomes for Aging Adults in Flint, MI”

- Scott Roberts, Ph.D. (University of Michigan)- “Disclosing Genetic and Biomarker Results to Individuals at Risk for Alzheimer’s Disease”

- Jeffrey Stanley, Ph.D. (Wayne State University)- “Altered hippocampal glutamate modulation related to memory consolidation in healthy aging: Evidence from functional magnetic resonance spectroscopy”

Speed Networking session 1:00pm - 2:30pm

Speed networking session: introduce yourself, your work, and NETWORK

We encourage participants, PARTICULARLY JUNIOR FACULTY, to participate in the Networking session. Each participant will present a short (3-5 min) introduction of their work. Participants are requested to submit 1-2 slides or storyboard (both to be reproduced onto standard 8.5 x 11 inch paper) x 20 COPIES TO BRING WITH THEM TO SHARE WITH THE GROUP DURING THE INTRODUCTION
