OBJECTIVES:
  1. Understand how protective lifestyle factors can promote cognitive maintenance even in old age and may lower risk of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia.
  2. Understand the insidious nature of dementia onset.
  3. Identify recommendations for aerobic exercise and nutrition for older adults and patients with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia.
  4. Evaluate the empirical evidence for clinical interventions among older adults.
