Wayne Law alumni are invited to participate in the State Bar of Michigan's National Trial Advocacy Mock Trial Competition as a judge for this year's event.  

NTAC draws some of the nation's finest law school mock trial teams, providing them with a platform to hone their courtroom advocacy skills. This year, sixteen teams of four participants, including two advocates and two witnesses, will compete for excellence in trial advocacy.

By joining us as a judge, you will help us elevate NTAC as a signature event for the State Bar of Michigan Young Lawyers Section. We also offer sponsorship opportunities for those interested in further support.

Date: October 20-22, 2023

Location: Coleman A. Young Municipal Center, Detroit

Judging Schedule: 

- Friday, October 20th: 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

- Saturday, October 21st (Morning): 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

- Saturday, October 21st (Afternoon): 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

- Awards Reception: October 21, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Detroit Athletic Club

- Semi Finals: Sunday, October 22, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

- Championship Round: Sunday, October 22, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
