As the economy continues to struggle due to the impacts of COVID-19, the legal profession is bracing for a wave of bankruptcy filings - both consumer and commercial. As a result, there is very likely to be an increased demand for professionals who can meet the legal needs of clients facing or involved with an insolvency proceeding.

Please join our panel of distinguished U.S. Bankruptcy Court judges and local bankruptcy practitioners for this virtual discussion to learn about careers in bankruptcy law.

Panelists will describe the bankruptcy system, their journeys into bankruptcy law and ways in which law students may get involved with local bankruptcy-focused organizations.

This virtual event is presented by the Office of Career and Professional Development at Wayne Law.
