Would you like a hands-on, real-life law-practice experience that will allow you to work with a practicing attorney and a client, prepare documents for filing, and perhaps even conduct a meeting with a court trustee? Want pro bono hours to count towards your Warrior Pro Bono Pledge requirement?
WAYNE STATE UNIVERSITY LAW SCHOOL IS NOW PARTNERING WITH ACCESS TO BANKRUPTCY COURT
to pair students with consumer bankruptcy lawyers to represent low-income clients in Chapter 7 bankruptcy cases.
Participating students must have at least two semesters remaining before graduation (including this term). First year students are welcome! No bankruptcy experience is necessary. To participate, you must attend a student training session:
SATURDAY, SEPT. 2, FROM 10:00 to noon and 12:30 - 1:30 (ZOOM)
