What to Wear:

Please wear comfortable, closed toe shoes and clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. No shorts! Dress for the weather. Gardening/work gloves and tools will be provided. 

What to Bring:

A brown bag lunch (water and snacks will be provided). Sunscreen and bug spray. Family and friends who want to join us!


*Shuttle bus from Wayne Law to the site and back provided by the Damon J. Keith Center for Civil Rights.  Carpooling from the Law School is encouraged.  Parking is also available on-site if you want to meet us there. We will meet at the Nature Zoo.

Project Description:

Projects range from clearing brush to tree trimming and other beautification projects. To learn more about this historic gem and for directions to Belle Isle, click here.


RSVP to f.thomas@wayne.edu and indicate whether you will take the shuttle, carpool from the Law School or meet us there.

*We will begin boarding the bus at 2:45 p.m. for a 3 p.m. departure (firm). Please plan to arrive at the Law School no later than 2:45 p.m. Shuttle bus will depart from the park at 5:45 p.m. and arrive back at the Law School at 6 p.m.
