Come hear about the program's many internships for students, cutting-edge faculty scholarship on international issues such as trade with China, changing jurisdictional standards in international cases, secession by break-away territories and the acts of military occupiers, and a preview of upcoming conferences and speakers for the year.

Featured Speakers:

Gurinder Singh, '07, specializes in assisting clients with international transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic corporate structuring utilizing treaty-friendly jurisdictions, private placements, and private equity and venture funds.

Oday Salim, '09, is a staff attorney in the Environmental Law Clinic at the University of Pittsburgh Law School. Salim has broad experience in environmental law, including work at private firms and public interest organizations. His expertise includes toxic tort litigation, the Clean Water Act, the Endangered Species Act, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, coastal zoning issues and issues related to water usage and pollution in the Great Lakes.

The event will also feature faculty and students speakers.
