The inter-American human rights system has addressed abuses from disappearance to electoral fraud throughout the Americas. Stephanie Brewer has litigated a series of complex cases before the inter-American Commission and Court of Human Rights. She will discuss the system's strengths and many drawbacks in securing human rights in the Americas.
