"Detroit Minds Dying:" Trump, Water Shutoffs & Resistance. Join us for a film screening and panel discussion about the mass water shutoff crisis in Detroit. 'Detroit Minds Dying' is a documentary-in-progress which follows residents, activists, and the United Nations as they fight for the human right to water. Featuring work of We the People of Detroit, Detroiters Resisting Emergency ManagementMichigan Welfare Rights Organization, members of the Homrich 9 and many others.

Film screening followed by a panel discussion featuring Monica Lewis Patrick of We the People of DetroitJulie Hurwitz of the National Lawyers Guild and Homrich 9 defense attorney; and Bill Wylie-Kellermann, Pastor at St. Peter's Episcopal Church and Homrich 9 defendant.
 

Free and open to the public. Food will be served.
