Religious Liberty or Unjust Discrimination: Is peaceful coexistence possible in the culture wars?
This event is in the past.
Detroit, MI 48202
When values like non-discrimination interact with faith, many see friction and no solutions. We see a better way: talking to each other. The Tolerance Means Dialogues are about working together to move forward. The Dialogue draws on your insights about more constructive ways to live together with our differences.
The event is being co-sponsored by Wayne Law ACLU, Keith Students for Civil Rights, Irvin D. Reid Honors College, and the Federalist Society. It will feature Dialogue Catalysts John Corvino, Dean of the Irvin D. Reid Honors College and Professor of Philosophy at Wayne State University, Robin Fretwell Wilson, University of Illinois College of Law, and moderated by Christopher Lund, Professor of Law at Wayne State University.
The Tolerance Means Dialogues engage people of different perspectives to find solutions to problems at the intersection of faith, sexuality, and families. You can read more about the project here: www.tolerancemeans.com
