The Office of Career Success is pleased to announce the first part of our Judicial Clerkships Series: What Every Law Student Must Know, hosted by Director Dean Michel. This presentation takes students through the basics of judicial clerkship opportunities, paying particular attention to what these positions entail, how to go about securing them, and why they can be beneficial for students both during and after law school. There are so many different types of careers in the judiciary, and it can be an incredible way to continue learning the law from great mentors. This presentation will discuss the typical application documents necessary, the typical clerkship hiring cycles, as well as the many different types of clerkships that exist in the judicial system.

Dean will be available for questions following the presentation.

The presentation will take place in classroom 1515 on Wednesday, September 18th from 12:15 – 1:30 P.M.

Pizza and refreshments will be provided.

Please see link to RSVP by Monday, September 16, 2024, for food.
