The Center for the Study of Citizenship is celebrating its tenth anniversary in 2013. 

The conference theme, The Meaning of Citizenship, addresses the ways in which scholarship deepens the understanding of the meaning of citizenship - membership in communities. The perspective of the conference is global, interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary.

Confirmed speakers are:

Rogers Smith (University of Pennsylvania, Christopher H. Browne Distinguished Professor of Political Science) who will give a keynote address on Civic Ideals.
