Thank you for applying to Wayne State University. If you received the link to this page in a letter or email from the Office of Admissions, we are happy to invite you to interview with Wayne State’s Academic Pathways to Excellence (APEX Scholars) program for further consideration.

APEX Scholars provides a unique opportunity to get a great start in your college career. We offer a network of enhanced support designed to bridge the gap between high school and college expectations. Our students benefit from this enhanced support through their first three full semesters in college. This support includes regularly scheduled, one-on-one advising sessions; college mentoring workshops; class assignment/study support; and course schedules tailored to maximize success at the college level.

To be considered for admission to WSU through APEX Scholars, referred applicants must schedule and attend an interview session with APEX. The interview session gives the student an opportunity to provide additional information on their high school experience and its impact on their college readiness. Also during this session, candidates and parents will meet with APEX staff to discuss the benefits, obligations and responsibilities of participating in the program.

To schedule your interview session for Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., please click on the RSVP button in the upper-right corner of this page.
