Participants will assist global emergency response efforts by helping to create maps of the most vulnerable and remote areas of the world using satellite images. These maps will be "ground-truthed" by teams on the ground, then used in delivering humanitarian aid. Map-A-Thons are a rare opportunity for students to directly participate in global emergency response without having to leave Wayne State's campus. No experience or special skills required! Just bring yourself and your laptop. You must bring your own laptop! Free pizza will be provided!
