Mathematics modular forms seminar
Location: Nelson Room
Date: Wednesdays, 3:00pm
This weekly seminar is intended to introduce modular forms, Maass forms, some of their applications in number theory, and some of their relationships to geometry and topology. The participants are, like the organizers, a mix of topologists and number theorists. Graduate students are encouraged to attend.
Speakers and topics vary from week to week. Subjects covered include an introduction to modular forms and an introduction to topological modular forms.
