IN THE NEWS—THE WALL STREET JOURNAL, NOVEMBER 9, 2018, P.B4 “Google Changes Harassment Rule.”  After thousands of Google employees across the world walked out in protest over the sexual harassment in the workplace, Google announced that “sexual misconduct claims will no longer have to be handled in private arbitration.”  These actions demonstrate the rising controversy over the widespread employer practice of mandating the arbitration of workplace disputes as a condition of employment.
