Are you are interested in learning more about the genetic counseling profession and/or enhancing your genetic counseling program application? If so, we would like to invite you to attend our August 2019 summer open house. At the open house, you will get tips on how to develop a strong program application, hear case studies from practicing genetic counselors, learn about expanded roles in genetic counseling, and get some practice working through genetic counseling cases. You will also get a chance to eat lunch with genetic counseling students, network with the Wayne State program directors and program faculty, and learn about opportunities for shadowing.
