South Africa’s democracy and political philosophy will be the focus of a lecture by expert Bernard Matolino, associate professor of philosophy at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in Durban, South Africa. His presentation, “The Liberal (Mis)Turn in African Politics,” begins at 3 p.m on November 18th.
This talk is part of International Education Week and is co-sponsored by the Office of International Programs, the Damon J. Keith Center for Civil Rights, the Irvin D. Reid Honors College, the Center for Citizenship, the Department of Political Science, the Department of Philosophy, and the Department of African American Studies.
