The major focus of research in the College of Nursing is urban health. These seminars present new ideas, methodologies and/or potential collaborators for faculty and students. Each session is led by a guest speaker for 45 minutes with another 15 minutes for discussion and Q&A. No fees are required and seminars are open to all.

The guest speaker for November 19th is Dr. Dawn Misra, PhD, Professor and Associate Chair for Research, Department of Family Medicine, SOM. Her topic will be Racism as a Fundamental Cause of Adverse Birth Outcomes in Black Families: Measures and Methods.
