The Office of Diversity & Inclusion welcomes you to commemorate women like Dr. Crystal Lee that continue to make positive impacts on the future of healthcare for our state of Michigan. This impact includes providing an early exposure for our future physicians and surgeons to the business of healthcare. Dr. Crystal Lee will visit the Wayne State University School of Medicine to delve into her career as an internist and a medical director for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. She has experience with both clinical and administrative aspects of healthcare. In this seminar, Dr. Lee will discuss how doctors and clients navigate health insurance, establishing medical facilities, the managerial careers for an MD, and her journey in medicine. We encourage pre-medical and medical students to attend.
