Research and information tech firm ProQuest and its affiliate Ex Libris will host an exclusive virtual job fair for School of Information Sciences students and alumni.

The company is looking to fill several positions in various departments and will host overview sessions on available roles, deep dive conversations with key departments and schedule virtual interviews for available positions. 

Available positions: 

Metadata Librarian, Lead -

As a member of the Content Operations team, the Metadata Librarian Lead (Cataloging) manages all aspects of metadata as the data progresses through the system in support of Ex Libris products and responsible for creating, enhancing and reconciling MARC and other authority data in Ex Libris knowledgebases. The ideal candidate is someone who is excited about the future of library metadata beyond MARC and who has a grounded understanding of the role that metadata plays in driving library services.

Metadata Librarian – Content Operations -

Content Support Specialist -

The Content Support Specialist addresses client reported issues with metadata quality for our knowledgebase and discovery solution products.

Content Supervisor -

The Supervisor, Content manages most aspects of the work of a team responsible for the delivery of content for ProQuest products, in cooperation with the product manager and other clients.

Provider Relations Engagement Manager -

The Engagement Manager for the Provider Relations team in Ex Libris Content Operations engages providers to supply content for the Ex Libris knowledgebases and index, manages the on-going relationship, understands and analyzes metadata to grow the quantity and quality of content.

ProQuest, along with its affiliates including Ex Libris, creates specialized information resources and technologies that provide ways for people to search, find, use and share information. The company is headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with offices around the world.
