Objectives:

  1. Develop foundational knowledge in the roots of the term “race”, the origin of the supposed races, and the myth of biological race.
  2. Learn about the three expression of racism and the harm of systemic racism in medical and academic settings.
  3. Understand the complexity of racial trauma, its various manifestations, and how racial stress and trauma affects mental health across generations.
