Are you looking for a change? Do you want to make a difference in your community? Do you want to get paid for doing something you love? Join us October 21 at 3 pm on Zoom to learn how you can transfer your credits and earn your BSW degree from Detroit's Social Work School.
Social Workers use advocacy, education, intervention, research, policy, and organizational changes to enhance individual well-being and meet the basic needs of individuals and their communities. Social Workers are able to utilize their skills and knowledge in a variety of settings including mental health clinics, schools, child welfare and human service agencies, hospitals, community organizations, the criminal justice system, and private practices.
The Wayne State University BSW program prepares students for ethical, competent entry-level, generalist professional social work practice, particularly in urban settings with diverse, poor, vulnerable, and oppressed individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities.
Potential applicants are strongly encouraged to attend an informational session prior to applying to the BSW Program. We invite all BSW transfer students to this special Zoom information meeting where we will answer questions regarding admission into the program, the application process, admission requirements, curriculum, job prospects and more.
This event will be hosted on Zoom. You must complete the RSVP for the Zoom link.
