Wayne State University School of Medicine is dedicated to supporting those communities that are underrepresented in medicine. We continue to push to ensure our school is representing and listening to all populations while providing opportunities to these communities.
Join us on Nov. 2 from 2 to 3 p.m.to hear from the student organization, Black Medical Association (BMA).
Founded in 1969, BMA is the local affiliate of the Student National Medical Association. The association is one of the oldest and most active student organizations in the Wayne State University School of Medicine. BMA supports African-American and minority students in:
- Development of academic excellence
- Professionalism resources
- Encouraging communication between student organizations and the collective student body
