Pharmacy White Coat Ceremony
This event is in the past.
The White Coat Ceremony is a rite of passage for students beginning the study of pharmacy. It is a wonderful and meaningful tradition to welcome students into the pharmacy profession. The event encourages a psychological contract for professionalism and empathy in the practice of pharmacy. The white coat symbolizes a commitment to clinical service and patient care. The clinician’s white coat should convey to patients a sense of seriousness and purpose that helps provide reassurance and confidence that their health issues will be dealt with competently and seriously. The white coat is viewed as the cloak of compassion.
This year's Pharmacy White Coat Ceremony will be held live on the WSU Applebaum YouTube channel.
