Millions of people are affected by mental illness each year. Across the country, many people just like you work, perform, create, compete, laugh, love and inspire every day. We invite the Warrior Community to join us for the 2020 Virtual Mental Health Awareness Walk to increase awareness and reduce stigma for the millions of those affected by mental illness and thoughts of suicide.

In previous years the Mental Health Walk took place at the end of the Winter semester, this year, 2021, the walk will be in alignment with WSU Mental Health Day and participants can complete their one-mile walk anytime anywhere between February 12 - 24, 2021.

Participating is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

  1. Register for the February 25 event and/or Virtual Walk via Get Involved

  2. Complete the Walk from home, take a photo and post to social media using #wsuMHAW

  3. Visit the W Pantry to make a suggested $5 donation. Donations are not required to participate.

Participants are invited to join us for the Mental Health Awareness Week Roundtable Event on Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 12 - 1 pm to join in an open and supportive discussion lead by students and area experts. Learn more
