Virtual Planetarium Show: Black Holes

Please join us for a virtual planetarium show! We are using Zoom to host a live planetarium show about black holes, which were the subject of the 2020 Nobel Prize in Physics. Ethan, our presenter, will guide you through a show about the night sky over Detroit. They'll tell you about black holes ranging from the mass of a single star the supermassive ones a million times heavier than our Sun which live at the center of every galaxy. At the end of the show we'll give you the link to a half-hour long astronomical movie which you can watch at the time of the show, or save for another day.
RSVP here and you'll receive an e-mail with the Zoom link. Early RSVP is exclusive to Wayne State students, staff, faculty, and alumni - you must have a wayne.edu email address to register early. RSVP will open to the public 10 days before the show.
This show is also being offered on March 4 at 7:00 pm
