The Hematology-Oncology Peer Education (HOPE) Group and the WSUSOM Learning Communities will be hosting a Be The Match Drive for their fall medical school challenge.
Be The Match is the national stem cell donor registry. The registry is where patients who need a stem cell or bone marrow transplant find their potential donors. Currently, non-white patients are less likely than white patients to find a match on the registry. We hope this drive will increase the diversity and awareness of the registry.
Please stop by our booth on Thursdays, October 28th to November 11th, from 2 PM - 5 PM in Room 010 at the Student Center. You can learn more about Be The Match and join the registry yourself!
