Virtual MIT Solveathon 2-Day Workshop
This event is in the past.
Free Virtual MIT Solveathon 2-Day Workshop co-hosted by the Mike Ilitch School of Business and the BELL
All Wayne State students are welcome to join in on Nov. 5 and 6 for an interactive design thinking workshop focused on creating solutions to problems you care about. This workshop will use human-centered design principles and rapid ideation to help students generate solutions to a real-life sustainability challenge: How can people create and consume goods that are renewable, repairable, reusable and recyclable?
Participants are eligible to apply for hundreds of dollars in micro-grants to improve their chances of competing for over $200,000 in prize funding through the Solv[ED] Youth Innovation Challenge.
You don’t need to have an idea or be working on a project to participate in this workshop. This is a great opportunity for those who are just getting started. Come push boundaries, gain new insights and have fun!
Other upcoming workshops available to those participating in the Nov. 5-6 workshop:
- Solv[ED] Global Refinement Solveathon Workshop - Nov. 13, 7 a.m. – 12 p.m. (Participants are eligible for $600 micro-grants)
- Workshop: User Research 101 - Nov. 23, 9-10:30 a.m.
- Workshop: Building Prototypes for Apps & Website – Nov. 30, 9-11 a.m.
