This event is in the past.
An Open Education Week event
Veronica Bielat, Student Success Librarian, leads this webinar on the discovery and use of Open Educational Resources (OER). OER are resources created and licensed by members of the educational community to improve access to quality educational materials to support student coursework and learning. Portals such as the OER Commons and Open Textbook Library, have guidelines and reviews to improve the evaluation of resources for your course to assure quality. The ability to revise and remix content provides instructors the ability to assure the content reflects their unique perspective in their courses.
