The Wayne State University School of Social Work invites faculty and academic staff to attend our upcoming Curriculum and Instruction Day - Returning to the Classroom: Lessons Learned from the Pandemic.

The pandemic has required that we change the way we teach.  We have adapted to online teaching and have discovered benefits and drawbacks.  Uncertainty about the potential impact of future Covid variants also requires us to prepare to adapt, to offer classes in different formats, and to alter our expectations and requirements around in-person attendance. This C&I program will begin an ongoing discussion about most effective and equitable methods of in-person, online, hybrid and hyflex teaching as we move into the future.

This event will include a discussion of hybrid and hyflex tools for maximizing participation and two breakout sessions. Please indicate in the RSVP which breakout sessions you will be attending. We will pre-assign these in Zoom before the event. View the breakout session options
