Togethr: LGBT Detroit Presents The Sex, Hooking Up and the Apps Campus Tour

This event is a collaboration between the Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies Program and the Office of Multicultural Student Engagement to bring LGBT Detroit to Wayne State as part of their Anti-Stigma project entitled Togethr, which aims to neutralize HIV stigma. Speakers will discuss advocacy for those impacted by HIV and AIDS, the recent changes to State law concerning disclosure of HIV status, hook-up culture, and more as they intersect with race, sexuality, LGBTQ+ culture, and education.
LGBT Detroit is a nonprofit whose mission is to increase awareness of and support to Detroit's dynamic LGBT culture through education and advocacy with integrity and pride.

University Covid-19 policies apply:
All students and staff must be vaccinated against Covid-19 and complete the daily screener to enter the Student Center building.
Non-university guests must also complete this daily screener and show proof of vaccination before entry, either with the physical card or a photo of it. Each guest must also show a form of ID.
Masks must be worn indoors regardless of vaccination status.
