This presentation will discuss types of CVA, behavioral symptoms, post stroke symptoms. Discuss interventions and communication strategies when working with families and patients who suffered a CVA. Identify Discharge Planning Strategies when working with a Stoke Patient and their families. Identify why Stroke patients often return to the hospital and interventions to assist with the patient living their best life at home.
