GME/Resident Council - Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Becoming a Catalyst for Change

The Office of Graduate Medical Education and the 2021-22 Resident Council in the WSU School of Medicine will be sponsoring a Professional Development Symposium, held via Zoom on April 12, 6:30-8:30 pm entitled "Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Becoming a Catalyst for Change." Prospective attendees should register using the RVSP link; a Zoom meeting link will be sent the week before the event.
Currently scheduled speakers include Herman Gray, MD, MBA, chair of the WSUSOM Dept. of Pediatrics and former CEO of the Children's Hospital of Michigan, and Donovan Roy, EdD, vice dean of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for the WSU School of Medicine.
This event provides 2.0 hours of implicit bias training, required by the state of Michigan of all healthcare providers. Attendees seeking certification of training should register by sending an RSVP, attend the full event, and complete both a pretest before the event and a posttest after it.
