What is the Professional Society Induction Ceremony?
Engineering, Engineering Technology, and Computer Science students are recognized in a formal ceremony.  This is optional - all BS College of Engineering graduating students are eligible.

-The Ring Ceremony is the public induction of candidates into the Order of the Engineer, during which the engineer candidates formally accept the Obligation of an Engineer and receive a stainless-steel ring to be worn as a symbol on the little finger of the working hand.
-Computer Science graduates repeat The Pledge of the Computing Professional.
-Engineering Technology division students get pinned in the Professional Order of Engineering Technology (POET).

Registration required by March 7th 6 a.m.
Student registrants receive more detailed instructions about the event.

NOTE: This event is intended to be face-to-face.  As we get closer to the event, the WSU Campus Health Committee will determine if we can move forward and how many are allowed in our space.  Right now for planning purposes, limit the number of family and friends to two per graduate. All attendees must comply with WSU health safety regulations.
