Break into Macro Social Work with ‘Building Your KASE’! KASE stands for ‘Knowledge, Abilities, Skills and Experience’: four key focal areas for macro social workers to develop. This professional development seminar will give social work students an in-depth walkthrough of starting a macro-based career. Addressed topics include how to assess your skill set, using the right keywords for locating macro positions, and how to translate your practice across other helping professions.

Join social work professor and macro social work expert Annie Grier for her ‘Building Your KASE’ Career Session on Thursday, April 21st, 4-6pm on Zoom. The presentation will also include plenty of time for Q&A and a take home workbook.

Annie Grier is a social work professor and macro practitioner. Ms. Grier’s expertise is in criminal justice, where she has developed several innovative assistance programs. Ms. Grier also is the founder and CEO of IDEEAS, LCC, where she provides social work career trainings to students across the country.

Students normally have to pay for a session with this much detail, so be sure to take advantage of this opportunity!
