This rigorous, hands-on bootcamp is open to all graduate student trainees and postdoctoral researchers committed to making a successful transition fo a career in business, industry, and other career sectors. It will be conducted by SciPhD, a professional services firm that has held career events at major research universities nationwide, including Wayne State University in 2018.

The workshop includes: examining multiple career options, developing a personal brand, research job opportunities, targeting your resume, preparing for an interview, landing your first job, and learning how to negotiate.

Advance registration is required (deadline August 1, 2022). Registration fee ($25) includes breakfast and lunch on both days and a comprehensive and personalized portfolio of job-hunting resources.
