Guest speakers: Jason McLellan, (University of Texas, Austin) and Linda Hsieh-Wilson, (Caltech)
There will also be a presentation of Outstanding Alumni awards.
11:15 am - Check in and Lunch in STEM Hall, 7th floor
1:30 pm - Jason McLellan, University of Texas, Austin: "Structure-Function Studies of the SARS-CoV-2 Spike and Development of COVID-19 Interventions”
2:45 pm - Break for refreshments
3:15 pm - Linda Hsieh-Wilson, Caltech: "Decoding Glycosaminoglycans and Their Roles in Neuroplasticity"
4:30 pm - Reception and poster show in the Chemistry Building Atrium
NOTE: Parking will be free of charge to guests from outside of Wayne State University in Parking Structure #6, located on 61 Putnam. When you arrive to the structure, please let the attendant know that you are in attendance of the Gopal Symposium.
